Mr. Landreth founded Advanced Control Systems, LLC (ACS) in 1992. In his role as President of ACS, Mr. Landreth provides direction on day to day operations. Under his leadership, ACS has provided process automation and control system solutions for over 150 clients including Micron Technology, Simplot, Nestle Powerbar, XL Four Star Beef and the northwest cities of Nampa, Meridian, Mountain Home, and Horseshoe Bend.
Mr. Landreth is a hands-on manager involved in all aspects of ACS’s business including business development; project estimating, system integration, SCADA system designs, programming, customer service, and operations management. He has an expert level knowledge in PLC and HMI programming on multiple hardware and software platforms.
Mr. Landreth enjoys farming on his homestead in Kuna, Idaho with his wife Deanne and 4 children. He is active in 4-H and serves on the Boise Bible College Board of Directors.
Mr. Thomsen is a Managing Partner and V.P of Engineering at ACS. Mr. Thomsen guides and directs all of ACS’s process automation and control system engineering projects. He is an innovative and outcome oriented project manager and works diligently to balance client budget constraints with the latest proven innovations in automation and control system technologies.
Prior to joining ACS in his current position, Mr. Thomsen was an Engineering Manager at the MPC Computer manufacturing facility in Nampa, Idaho. Mr. Thomsen started his career as a Systems Engineer with Rockwell International working on the B-1 Bomber program.
Mr. Thomsen is an expert level programmer on a variety of PLC and HMI programming platforms and technologies including Allen Bradley, Omron, RS-View, Wonderware and Indusoft.
Mr. Thomsen and his family reside in Nampa, Idaho and he enjoys playing in an Old Time Fiddler band with his wife, Drae and 3 children. He is a registered professional electrical engineer in Idaho and holds a masters degree in Aeronautical Science.
